Weird title but I'll explain.

Jagex has noted that they want bosses to be less pattern based and more reactive. That's fine and interesting, but randomness needs some control.

I will only discuss wave 8+ because other waves are pretty simple.

The variance of the fight scales with randomness, melee grubs, boulder special attack spam, melee punish during boulder spam. Melee grubs walking on poison. Etc

Bosses with randomness need to have some design to respect its own attacks. Grubs explode if you stand next to them, but you can avoid it if you kill them next to the boss. Since boulders can be sent during melee grubs, you can't kill them and reasonably step away from explosion damage or time it with popping it on the boss. Maybe if you attack a melee grub, make the boss unable to melee attack you. Or just don't send grubs during boulders. Or simply don't use melee grubs.

Similarly it seems to use the boulder attack as a regular attack on these waves, regularly spamming the attack throughout the fight as if it's a normal attack. No cooldown at all.
