Trump is a loser and rapes women and young girls.

Release the Epstein files, you king of deflection.

Watch both sides vote it down

[–] verdantbanana@lemmy.world 38 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Democrats will claim it was the Republicans fault when they do vote it down

Pelosi said she strongly supports the bill and looks forward to voting for it.

"I already made a fortune through my husband's trading on my insider info, so I'm all for this now."

Disingenuous. But I'll take good legislation even if it's late.

If only maga were exposed to this kind of news maybe they'd finally recognize what a corrupt piece of shit Trump is....

...But who am I kidding of course they wouldn't, they'd move the goalpost and somehow say Pelosi bad and Trump good all in the same sentence.

They literally carved out a special exemption for Trump in this law. What is he even complaining about?

Guess it's never enough for orange in charge.

GOP senators had been working with the White House on the stock trade bill, and some supported a broad carve-out to exclude the president from the ban, but it failed, with Hawley joining Democrats to block it.

Looks like the carve out failed because Hawley and Democrats blocked it. That's probably why he's actually upset with Hawley. Tbh I'd be fine with the carve out of it actually helped the bill pass, it's not like trump really has any qualms with breaking the law.

Thanks for the good news!

[–] Kirp123@lemmy.world 2 points 2 days ago

Ok I saw an article where they were talking about the carve-out but I hadn't seen yet that it failed. Good on them for not taking that shit.

Hopefully that black shriveled thing he calls a heart gives up and we don't have to endure more. I was really hoping with the whole Epstein thing it may happen but I guess not.

As we have seen with Dick Cheney, they can just give him a new one. I would hope for an aneurysm, but I suspect a braindead Trump being puppeted with some sort of implant chip, and controlled by a first gen LLM, might be more coherent than he currently is.

Trump, Hawley is one of the reasons your insurrection even happened. You might wanna be grateful… oh wait, it’s Trump.

Diaper Don Tiny Dick Trump

I mean smh, imagine a self-respecting Republican naming an act after pedophile man-eater Satan Pelosi.

[–] taiyang@lemmy.world 6 points 2 days ago (2 children)

Hawley for once not being a compete dickbag. Obviously the orange one doesn't want to lose his ability to manipulate markets and enrich his cronies in congress, but what does Hawley get out of it?

[–] peregrin5@piefed.social 6 points 2 days ago

it's the fake bone they throw to their idiot voter base once in a while knowing it will never pass. Trump just didn't get the memo (or more likely, can't read the memo).

[–] taiyang@lemmy.world 1 points 2 days ago

By upsetting his very MAGA base?

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 4 points 2 days ago

This kind of thing polls even better than releasing all the Epstein files.

Figures that Taco is butthurt about it.

[–] Lexam@lemmy.world 4 points 2 days ago

Second Tier? Damn that's a compliment.
