Wasn't there a martial arts flick out of Asia somewhere by the same name, recently?
That looked promising, but this? I couldn't make it through the first fight scene (first scene, FWIW) without losing all faith in its ability to come back from its numerous wtf moments. 🙄
Yep, a Korean movie from 2023. I really enjoyed that movie. If I had to choose between both Ballerina's, definitely the Korean one.
Awesome! I'm gonna go hunt that down right now!
I think it's still on Netflix.
Why would I pay those greedy fucks a single pfennig?
Haha, fair point.
She was awesome, and it was very much in the vein of the John Wick saga formula of a light story to set the tone and then finishes with non-stop brutal action. I kept thinking, these movies must be exhausting to film for both the actor and stunt people. If you like John Wick, you will most likely like this one.
I really liked the movie. Although the fights had too many cuts, didn't really had the John wick oneshot fight feeling
Who cares about reviews. Ana de Armas.
The funny thing I noticed was that she was extra brutal to the Asian henchmen. It was obviously coincidental.
