The sustained attention around the Epstein files lets us shine a light on the bipartisan architecture of impunity.

Reminder that no one on the list has gone to jail or even been charged.

Reminder that the Panama papers still exist and everyone forgot about them.

Few folks are discussing the implications of the Budget and ways to counter it

The implications of the budget are the creation of a totalitarian hellhole; a boot stamping on a human face forever. It's not just "people [losing] healthcare and food benefits" like the article mentions; it's also the transformation of ICE into Trump's own lavishly-funded personal Gestapo, able to disappear people and otherwise terrorize the public into submission at-will.

The way to counter it is to take down Trump, via the Epstein scandal (because the fact that Trump is a child molester is the only thing that seems to get through to his cultist base).

Anything else -- such as pretending there's some other viable strategy to stop the implications of the budget after it's already been passed -- is a distraction from that.

I'm only worried about what comes after. Doesn't JD Vance get the crown? Isn't he slyly trying to make that happen? He seems dangerous.

He IS dangerous. Peter Theil's puppet. He is a total Fascist freak that'd clearly have gotten a long great with the Nazi elite... Whether he's More dangerous than Trump is debatable, but I personally think they'd be the same. I do think taking down Trump would weaken his legitimacy in the public eye

its not like republicans voters every make noise over something like budget cuts anyways they are too dumb to realize the implications, and thier preferred Media is tell them its a good thing, so its almost a one sided issue(dems) they ignore anyways. the epstein thing is however a universal problem, as it implicates high level politicians(both foreign and worldwide) and significant donors to the parties.

i would like to point you towards videos of Republicans in deep red districts getting yelled at by their core voter base not but 4 months ago during the initial waves of DOGE cuts https://youtu.be/Rx8H--_Iuuw https://youtu.be/7yO6IMg9u0M
