Women only trans inclusive This is an inclusive community for all things women. Whether you're here for make up tips, feminism or just friendly chit chat, we've got you covered.

Rules…

  1. Women only… trans women are women, and transphobic or gender critical talk isn’t allowed. Anyone under the trans umbrella (e.g. non-binary, bigender, agender) is free to decide whether a women's community is a good fit for them.
  2. Don’t be a dick. No personal attacks, no aggression, play nice.
  3. Don’t hate on groups, hatefilled talk about groups is not allowed. Ever.
  4. No governmental politics, so no talk of Trump actions etc. We recommend Feminism@beehaw.org for that, but here is an escape from it.
  5. New accounts or users with few comments may have their posts removed to prevent spam and bad-faith participation.

So, most of my bras are bralettes or sport bras. I have some pads that I can insert into them to push my chest a little and kinda give them a good shape, and those also cover my nipples. Unfortunately the pads are falling apart and instead of buying new bras maybe there is something else.

I am looking into getting some t-shirt-bras again. They do a good job for my needs, although they are uncomfortable sometimes. Finding the right size is like winning the lottery.

I am very self conscious about people looking at my chest and thinking weird stuff about it. I don't want anything there to look odd.

Hi, just coming back to this since I found a thing ... today I was trapsing around looking for seamless underpants in a sports shop and stumbled upon bras made for doing yoga in.

Less restrictive and more breathable than sports bras, and with thin removable pads. Also, made to look somewhat pretty.

I'll be testing one out properly this coming week ...

Have you tried silicone nipple shields? They stick to your skin without requiring adhesives and should easily stay in place inside a bralette or sports bra.

No, I never thought those would work with exercise or a long work day. Will give them a try.

I've had good results just wearing pasties under my shirt, but I'm sure you could just buy new bra pads, too.

Thanks, will try those. :)

I had to go look up what a T-shirt bra is ... and, found out it's just a normal bra.

What I'd really love is a sports bra, but loose fitting, so if I'm doing something non-jiggly then I can just be comfy and not overheated, and not take any bodies eyes out with my nipples

I got a couple of pull over bras recently that are wireless and don't have the same strong elastics as sports bras (kind of like this but without the weird boob split). I find them extremely comfortable. I found one of them at a thrift store actually for like 6 bucks and it's probably my favourite bra now.

If you're set on a sports bra though maybe you could just go a size or two up if you're just looking for a non jiggly day bra.

Hi, just replying again to say, I may have found my ideal bra today - it's one made for doing yoga in :-)

Going to test it properly this coming week ...

That looks like a Lego bra or something, lol

I'll try searching locally for "pull over bra" and see if anything comes up, sometimes things like this translate ok - thanks for the tip :-)

I recently discovered a wire-free t-shirt bra from torrid which has been life-changing. Maybe it could work for you.

I love my Nippies when pasties are the more appropriate solution for my outfit. Maybe those could work? But they definitely risk shifting around after 8+ hrs or heavy sweating. Never used them with a bra though so who knows!

They've worked well with all my bras, thankfully.
