That's just one station right? And all the regular train platforms at this station (except the intercity trains) have the same escalator cladding I think.

Or does every station on the metro look like this?

I've not been to every station, but each one I have been to is different, although the platforms are roughly the same.

So much nicer and really quiet too.

That is just central station. Other stations are much smaller, but still with escalators and elevators down to the track level.

Afaik, the escalators at central are the longest in the southern hemisphere, though there is not that much competition.
