I got Spaghetti Kart working on a laptop at home, it's a decompiling of Mario Kart 64 that makes it work more like a native pc game with improved resolutions and framerates.
It makes a huge difference and the game feels so much nicer. Also, I'm proud to announce my boys are more interested in chasing the train in that one level than doing the race, as you should be.
ooo does it work with 8bitdo? I might stick it on the meevee alongside retroarch and 1964
I've only use a keyboard but it should work. I played the Majora's Mask recomped with my 8bitdo controller and it worked fine

and it's such a beautiful day, I won't go to beach or do errands because back so I will read by a sunny window ( I have so much to do ๐) I read a short book on Australian landscape painters yesterday , I really like Charles Conder and Lloyd Rees but Heysen landscapes are the places I grew up with, they resonate. The bright yellow skies, colours faded from the sun , the dry air, the heat, the quiet, old old trees, and farms.
Stuff on aliexpress is good if you don't buy the most unreasonably cheapest of everything. You can often find regular brands on there that other stores sell too

Iโm wavering on getting rid of this tv. Maybe I could get a PS2 off eBay as they play dvds too. I regret getting rid of my old one.
But then Iโd have to find games and dvds I wanted to play/watch and find a non-awkward place to put it. Iโm trying to pare my possessions down dammit
