Literally the only show to use a laugh track well is "Kevin can go F*** Himself"
But that's because it's split between stereotypical sitcom style when "Kevin" is in the room (complete with laugh track) and when he's not it's shot like a modern drama.
So, the sitcom husband does something absolutely horrible, cue laugh track, he walks out of the room and it figuratively and literally gets darker as everyone deals with the fallout.
It's probably one of the most accurate portrayals of living with someone with narcissistic personality disorder in modern media.
