So they released memory anemic 5 series cards just so they could pull this bs a few months later, shocking.
Good old Nvidia... Artificial segmentation is their real talent.
Take something away then bring it back, call it progress
I will upgrade once my current GPU fails... i can do this for years. mid life upgrades are over
I mean is the mid cycle of the 5000 series, it's obvious that the refresh will launch at that point. You don't need rumors for this.
Seems like they should have just gone with these VRAM configs with the non-super variants from the start.
After using steamOS, I'm more likely to buy a new AMD card when support for desktops comes in, or use Bazzite.
I really really would like quick resume on PC. That would be so much more valuable to me than multi-frame gen and path tracing.
Until then, my 3070ti (8gb VRAM) will have to do.
