Preliminary Information: On 7/28/25, around 12:01am, officers responded to Grady Hospital in reference to a person shot. Upon arrival, officers met with a male victim who was being treated for a gunshot wound to the foot. Preliminary investigation indicates the victim was in the area of 400 Edgewood Drive NE where he stated he was shot. The victim stated he was privately transported to the hospital for treatment. Investigators are working to establish a crime scene at this time and determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
