Right-libertarians are more interested in how permissively-licensed stuff can be exploited for profit. Copyleft stuff too, if they can Tivoize or otherwise subvert it.

Systemd doesn't do a ton completely by itself. All those services are still separate pieces you can have installed or not.

The only thing it breaks is the Unix mantra of, "do one thing and do it well." Which just like ANYTHING, is absolutely braindead if taken to its extreme.
