A few days ago my voyager app startet to refresh randomly while scrolling. Additionally, now when I exit a post, the app will have randomly skipped a few posts. I didn't change any settings so I have no idea what prompted this change. Does anyone else have the same problem?

For me, this happens when I switch from and back to voyager. Say I'm writing a comment and want to look something up and grab a link. I switch to the browser, grab my link, come back to voyager and the app refreshes back to "active, all".

is it allowed to run in the background unrestricted? that happens to me on some other apps when it's restricted or “optimized”.

So it's been 3 days now, looks like the unrestricted background was the trick. Thanks!

Doesn't make a difference for me.

Same here. Edit: I never had “Auto Hide Read Posts” enabled. Just thought it was my crappy internet connection.

Yes - disabling “Auto Hide Read Posts” seems to resolve it.

The issue seemed to coincide with upgrading to the iOS 26 Public Beta.

I never has that option enabled, so that doesn't seem to be my issue (replying from my lemmy account on connect because voyager didn't load my inbox properly)
