Excellent stuff, I eagerly await the next

Is that music next to it? Does that mean this is actually a bass clef?

[–] ThaMunsta@sh.itjust.works 8 points 5 days ago

Thank you!! I looked at this and figured the real joke was calling a bass clef a fucking "D" 😂

I love these. I love every meme and joke about medieval art.

Right up there with Hark! A Vagrant

This one might be overused but it's a personal favorite of mine

I especially love the one on the bottom left because you know someone told the artist "you know, cats? Stay up all night, get the mice out of your house, generally pretty moody?" and the artist was like "...yeeeessssss....caaaats. Right." and just assumed that the cats are bipedal because no one thought to tell him they aren't.

Here's a statue that this made me think of.

Not sure why someone would make a statue of a boy having sex with a turtle.

it's a metaphor

I thought it was depicting Urashima Taro but I guess it could be what you said.

Here is an article on it. It's by my office. And that boy is behind the turtle not on top of it. No one knows the meaning of it. And the guy that made it committed suicide not too long after.
