It's literally a damn metaphor for living in harmony with nature, before we had the brilliant idea that we could do better.

Dunking on people who are already confused by taking scripture far too literally doesn't make you look smart. It makes you look like a condescending asshole who doesn't even care enough to actually learn anything about what you're criticizing. The are plenty of MUCH better arguments you could make if you actually cared to learn, like the one I've provided above. And FYI, I still think that explanation is a needlessly pessimistic representation of what happened.
