I'm being way too serious about this, but: Whatever you do with your toys outside of the game, who cares? You do you. It's fine. Want to marry Angron with Sparkledash (or whatever the ponies are called), do it. DO. IT. And post pictures, I wan't to see that shit.

When we play, I'm going to allow Sparkledash on table if you say before game what it is proxying for. I'm cool with that. Doesn't matter if he/she/it married Angron or left the guy on the altar. Not my biz.

I couldn't care two shits if you played with chess pieces, as long as you declare what each piece represents/proxies and don't mind me asking for refreshers because I'm gonna forget. But, as long as we play on good terms and have fun, all good.

Or don't play, and have fun, because I could see myself totally busting that house with my minis and having a bakeout. Yes, I'm an adult, but nobody told me how to adult.

(edit: I main Chaos Knights (no, haven't even seen the new codex, is it out yet?) and side Necrons. Both are down for barbie.

Moves piece in straight line across table to capture yours

"What? I thought that was a space marine?"

"Nah the pawns are proxies for space Marines, the knights are vehicles, and the rook is just a rook."

and the rook is just a rook.

that's bound to happen, but I'd like to think both parties are on the same level and if there's proxies in play, everyone asks reminders and automatically reminds what everything is (if they're making an obvious goof). IMO, could be soup cans for all I care, as long as everyone is consistent about it.

Ah shit now I'm just imagining chess but with a mini Warhammer set up. Only pieces that don't have to navigate around buildings are pawns.

Game ends when you complete objectives. Taking a King ends the game.

Would Rainbow Dash be allowed if it was just Rainbow Dash and not a proxy for something? 🤔 IDK about Warhammer's rules; but in D&D there are rules you can use to basically make any fictional character a functional character in the game.

I think it would be funny for Rainbow Dash (or any other pony for that matter) to take part in a Warhammer campaign.

as long as whomever you're playing with you agrees with the rules you want to use it with. I sure would.

Obviously not tournament legal, but who cares.
