MODERATORS

So I am sure that most of us has already seen the card breakdown for the Fabled Set 9 (if not I uploaded a screenshot).

I have read many comments where veteran players complaint about the number of reprints. And I wonder what everyone here think about it.

I understand that those who have a playset of all cards since set 1, doesn't have much to get from this set. But the biggest winners are the new, and those who missed some of the earlier set, players, which I think is important for the game to grow in numbers.

Personally I think that this set will be very good. As a "veteran" player since set 3, I don't have all the cards. The cards I needed, which didn't cost too much, I bought as singles. And I don't play meta decks.

But with this set I might (depending on which cards are reprinted) have a chance to get enough cards so that I can build a post-rotation meta deck. Not that I want to, but I finally want to have a chance of winning a game in the next set championship.

The best cards that everyone needs to play the game with other people shouldn't be the most expensive in every card game. Either expensive cards should be purely relegated to alternate art treatments or we need a cheaper card game.
