The lack of Gura's presence had a huge effect, as the Dodgers lost to the Astros, 4-6.

Seems like it was a success this time as well, nice.

So they’re planning to “expand” to other sports too? I’m kinda torn, on one side I’ve seen sport fans be very toxic and dismissive of other people’s hobbies, on the other they do have the same culture of “cheering for your idol” and taking your passion as a lifestyle, between merch, apparel and whatnot. But I guess they made enough research on it to see that pros outweigh the cons if they’re planning to do that. Hopefully it all turns out well for both fanbases!

baseball seems like a natural fit because Japan also love their baseball. so next sport should be something like that as well.
