Don't forget providing Stalin with the weapon he'd use in his consolidation of power, the Ban on Factions. It's also funny because the reason for implementing the Ban was to undermine factions that wanted their Party of the Proletariat™ to, you know, actually do things for the proletariat.
The Democratic People's Republic of Tankiejerk

Curious about non-tankie leftism? If you've got a little patience for 19th century academic style, let a little Marx and Kropotkin be your primer!
Marx's Communist Manifesto, short and accessible! Highly recommended if you haven't read it
Our Leopards Are Different
..."whatever you do, don't let stalin take power"...
There's actually not much reason to believe this quote came from Lenin. At that point pretty much the only person of significance seeing Lenin was his wife Krupskaya, and she had beef with Stalin. Also, the document she provided as proof didn't have the signature (or maybe initials? Something like that) Lenin included in all his other writing from the same period, so really it's more likely Krupskaya just wanted to undermine Stalin.
That quote is basically the equivalent of "Finding Jesus" on the deathbed.
"Instructions unclear, currently freezing to death in Siberia"
...jesus loves you...
