President Trump said he had intervened to help stop the deadly strife, now in its third day, after it extended to provinces about 200 miles south of where clashes began.

It's gonna drag on forever. Just like Trump's relationship with his best friend Jeffrey Epstein, whom he raped children with

I mean, after his success with Isreal / Gaza and Russia / Ukraine, I'd expect nothing less than full out war with chemical weapons or some other violation of international law.

[–] xenomor@lemmy.world 7 points 2 weeks ago

Don’t forget Israel / Lebanon, Israel / Iran, Israel / Syria, US / Yemen, and US / Iran.

[–] SayJess@lemmy.blahaj.zone 27 points 2 weeks ago

That’s great. Now release all of the Epstein files.

Isn't this the same idiot who claimed to end the Russian invasion into Ukraine within 24 hours?

[–] Saratek@lemmy.world 11 points 2 weeks ago

Deflecting that's what he's doing.

[–] JeeBaiChow@lemmy.world 10 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

He said that about gaza too.

[–] JackDark@lemmy.world 5 points 2 weeks ago

And Ukraine

Trump says a lot of things. Almost none of them are true.

So.... Never.

Is this like that time he attempted to declassify documents with his mind?

I don’t really care about what orangeboi expects, in a situation I expect was at least passively (if not actively) engineered as a distraction (by which I mean: US diplomats in the past would likely have been playing mediator to both parties to assist with de-escalation, and we’ve basically just stopped doing stuff like that altogether under our current regime).

I do care about the full context of orangeboi’s relationship and interactions with Epstein.

Which actually makes me less confident it will happen.

I fucking hate this disingenuous clown using global conflicts to fish for a Nobel Peace Prize.

[–] shalafi@lemmy.world 5 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

Only reason he has a hard on for the prize is because Obama scored one.

[–] Nico_198X@europe.pub 2 points 2 weeks ago

Yep. Super pathetic.

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 1 points 2 weeks ago

How can one tell if Trump has a hard-on? In E. Jean Carroll's civil suit, he was found liable for sexual assault rather than rape because she couldn't tell if she was penetrated by his dick or his finger.

[–] newthrowaway20@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago

So this'll be a hundreds year war. Got it.

There seems to be a new thing where countries negotiate a cease-fire and then just immediately start launching missiles as a treat.

[–] learningduck@programming.dev 1 points 2 weeks ago

Then Cambodia start shelling into Thailand that night.
