I'm autistic, trans, and grew up with three brothers. I collect hotwheels and enjoy being the girl in a male dominated space. I love the odd salon visit, but I feel nervous if I'm dressed to fancily/frilly or surrounded by women. I feel like I'm inevitably the odd one out and worry I'm making them unconfortable
WomensStuff
Women only trans inclusive This is an inclusive community for all things women. Whether you're here for make up tips, feminism or just friendly chit chat, we've got you covered.
Rules…
- Women only… trans women are women, and transphobic or gender critical talk isn’t allowed. Anyone under the trans umbrella (e.g. non-binary, bigender, agender) is free to decide whether a women's community is a good fit for them.
- Don’t be a dick. No personal attacks, no aggression, play nice.
- Don’t hate on groups, hatefilled talk about groups is not allowed. Ever.
- No governmental politics, so no talk of Trump actions etc. We recommend Feminism@beehaw.org for that, but here is an escape from it.
- New accounts or users with few comments may have their posts removed to prevent spam and bad-faith participation.
I'm a single, disabled, LGBT feminist who loves cuddly toys and I'm often described as eccentric. I'm pretty unconventional really, it doesn't bother me although it used to
i dropped outta high school so i could hitchhike across the country and play my banjo on the streets instead of being a wage slave
I'm all sorts of unusual; polyamorous, pan/reciprosexual, quoiromantic, nonbinary transgender, autistic/ADHD, anarcho-socialist, humanities baccalaureate, some postgrad in compsci and futures studies, fintech-worker, sneptaur furry, etc etc etc. XD
I can do a good job of pretending to fit in, thankfully, but masking takes a lot of effort and I prefer just quietly being the weirdest person in the room. It's amazing how much people can ignore when reality fails to abide by their expectations, and how much thembo-titty can pass by unnoticed when it's attached to a moustashioed person. XD
