Preliminary Statement: On July 25, 2025, at approximately 8:31PM, officers responded to 585 Mcdaniel ST SW., in reference to a male shot. Upon arrival, officers located a male with an apparent gunshot wound to his chest. The victim was alert, conscious, breathing and transported to the hospital for treatment. Investigators with the aggravated assault unit responded to the scene to determine the circumstance surrounding this incident. The investigation is still ongoing.
