Seen some people complain that a white guy is taking that number and while I get it, I don't know that we're signing another striker any time soon who's black now that we've signed Gyökeres. He's really gonna need to prove himself in it though.

In fairness for a lot of people that number stands for Henry, and since him it has been Walcott, Auba, and Eddie. And considering how much of an issue racism is, especially with the recent rise in right-wing nonsense... I get it.

But the whole clubs stance against racism is huge and always has been, as far as I can remember. To me this is much more important than attaching race to a squad number - the whole topic sounds like a low-grade Instagram talking point IMO.
