Possible? I thought it was common knowledge that a surprising amount of people think things like ChatGPT are full blown sapient and sentient AIs like in sci-fi.

And it's highly likely RFK Jr. is in that group. Him and his followers most likely think the generated fake studies are accurate and that scientists "just don't understand"(like with all their conspiracies).

A lot of people are going to die over this. And that asshat will be in the ground before any consequences roll around.

It's almost certain. More importantly, LLMs are designed to be engaged with and so will constantly reinforce your own opinion. No dissent or discussion, which narcissists love.
