DOTI said they went back to the drawing board after receiving pushback from local businesses over the loss of parking.

It's wild. Someone needs to tell DOTI that people don't die from a lack of parking. Also why do the opinions from a couple businesses carry so much weight? If peds and bicyclists had a similar weight every time a couple of people asked for a protected bike lane it'd get built instantly

We need leaders and orgs who are willing to move away from car centric development. Look to other countries that have gone through these changes already and adapt it for our use.
