I think it only happens if you wear a dress that drapes over the floor around you like a pool of darkness.
I always wondered about dresses like that. They look cool as hell, but wouldn't they be tattered up the second time you went to wear the thing?
The trick is to float 6 inches off the floor when you cross a room
