Cuba also has a lung cancer treatment that's effective, imagine how many lives could've been saved if US didn't embargo them.

Yeah afaik Cuba has awesome cancer treatments in general, I think a couple of celebrities have traveled there to treat themselves.

Yup, their biotech industry is world class. Even with stuff like covid vaccines, only a handful of countries have the capability to make their own.
