puni reporting in from the atelier series
maybe not the best jrpg mascot, not even the best jrpg slime (that spot goes to dragon quest) but i think they're adorable
Quite adorable. I audibly gasped when I saw the newspaper recipe visually showing how to make puni drink in Atelier Meruru 😂
For Trails, it's gotta be Mishy.
I guess Mishy is a better mascot than Celine.
Celine's super cute, though.

(As for Moogles, I think FF:CC has by far the best ones!)
The "Of Mana" Series has the Rabite
you sure that's not a monster i have just killed playing a mana game. I have the feeling every, at least early, monster looks like this. Have only played one mana game a very long time ago
Yeah, they tend to also use it as an early fodder enemy in a lot of them.
Werdna, Man in Robes.
From the father of all JRPGs (literally all of them, I'm not kidding):
Werdna may not be iconic to players in the West, but show this image to any of the developers that created any Japanese JRPG series and they will immediately know who this is and where he is from.
i choose a moogle as picture, not because it's my fav, but probably well known. But if i have to choose as mascot, does celine (from trails of cold steel) count?
