Tiny is cute!

  1. Posts must feature "smolmoe". That is, chibi charachters, or characters that are short, tiny, young, miniature, etc.
  2. No lewd art. AT ALL.
  3. If posting a more suggestive piece, if something might be worth marking NSFW, consider posting it somewhere else.
  4. Include a link to the artist in post body, if you can
  5. AI Generated content is not allowed.
  6. Positivity only. No shitting on the art, the artists, or the fans of the art/artist.
  7. Finally, all rules of the parent instance still apply, of course.

SauceNao can be used to effectively reverse search the creator of a piece, if you do not know it.

You may also leave the post body blank or mention @saucechan@ani.social, in which case the bot will attempt to find and provide the source in a comment.

Unrelated rant, but does anyone else find that graphics cards nowadays are way too thick to be aesthetic? They look more like bricks than cards. And it's not like you need such a large cooler for a low-wattage card, so presumably manufacturers are only doing this for the aesthetic. But does anybody actually like that look?

Anyways, the 2-slot card in the OP feels like a semblance of sanity

I had to buy a new case unexpectedly last time I bought a card, because after years and years of only having to check that the length was compatible they randomly made them thicker.

When that happened to me recently, I switched to an even smaller case (albeit with a thicker GPU area) out of spite. (Antec ISK 600 -> Lian Li / Dan A4-H2O)

I feel like they put bigger coolers on just to make the card seem powerful.

Then when you look at the ITX half-length model for the same chip, and it runs fine, you realize that shit was way past overkill.

It has resulted in some super-quiet cards tho.

My GPU uses 3x the power of my CPU and has a heat sink less than 3x the size, so it kinda checks out.

I do wish I had gotten the 2-slot version instead of the 2.5 slot version -- picking the wrong one (because I was standing in line on launch day and hadn't had time to research the options properly) cost me having to get a new case and power supply.

Please if someone has more of the "minigirls with electronics" type of art, send it to me. IDK why, this stuff melts my heart. I can't help but imagine electronics factories being a ton of tiny cute anime girls putting circuit boards together like they're building cities.
