At one point I think we were doing the work of 1.8 people. Now it seems as though we're doing the work of 10 to 15.

Do the work of one person. They aren’t paying you to work more, and they sure as hell won’t care that your went above and beyond when they lay you off.

That headline makes it sounds like the Trump administration is somehow suffering from this. They aren't; the public is. And that was pretty clearly the plan. They're going to say, "We didn't cut your benefits, the incompetent Social Security Administration is keeping you from getting them".

This is being replicated across every social program the government operates. Except for the many giveaways that benefit the rich. Those will remain well-funded and well-staffed.
