Homicide: 2218 Baywood Dr. SE

Preliminary information: On July 22, 2025, at approximately 12:14 a.m., Atlanta Police Zone 3 officers responded to a report of a person shot at 2218 Baywood Dr. SE. Upon arriving on the scene, officers located a 66-year-old male victim who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to the hospital by ambulance in critical condition, where they succumbed to their injuries. Investigators with the Homicide Unit responded to the scene to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation continues.
