She developed thrush in all 4 feet and lost weight in the week I wasn't out there because of my surgery. I spoke to her owner and we decided to move her because the conditions are just deteriorating rapidly where she's at and it ain't worth the money. I've been tasked with picking the new farm out!

I'm going to tour a place that's REALLY close to me tomorrow.

Do you blog about Sandy elsewhere? An elderly neighbor expressed to me today she's always wanted a horse, but never had one. However, due to age, I believe Lemmy may be a bit complicated for her to navigate, but I think your updates would bring her great joy. We don't live near enough to walk to visit, but I can show her a blog to bookmark, in the next days.

I don't. Though I could if I found a place that isn't hella complicated to use

That's ok, and thank you. Maybe we can browse your posts if we can have the time together.

Good to see you're out and about. Take it easier than you think you need to for awhile so you minimize interior scarring. It's great that Sandy will be getting a healthier place to live in! And getting more time with you!

Yeah I really overdid it today. I went and toured a small stables to see if driving short distances is a thing I can handle. It is not. On the bright side, Sandy is prolly gonna move there and be 10 mins away from me and have such a great life. A little boy also drug me around the barn and showed me every cat and kitten there. Just came up to me and took me on an adventure lol.

The barn cats and kittens are an important part of the ambiance! As free-roaming friends of the horses, they carry the gossip from stall to stall. It's ridiculous how driving uses those painful bits, isn't it?

Barn cats are indeed vital! The newborn kittens were especially cute. And as for driving, I hate how seatbelts currently feel but safety first lol
