I started seeing people doing the same thing on Reddit and Lemmy.

Picture of Palestinian kid starving with a title calling for the readers to not forget.

Let me be clear here, I support the cause. But I don't like manipulation.

This is kind of sketchy to me.

Is there is a current news/ research about this?

You're concern is that people across one large social media site and basically it's offshoot both have people that care about an ongoing genocide?

And that's so unbelievable to you. That the most likely scenario is it's propaganda?

What an absolute pessimistic take....

Loads of people still think genocide is bad. Most people do.

The propaganda is billionaire owned MSM pretending there isn't a genocide
