I’ve been a lifelong gamer, with RuneScape being a part of my world for nearly 20 years. My wife, on the other hand, has never been able to join me—video games make her motion sick almost instantly.

But yesterday, I asked her if she’d be willing to give RuneScape a try. I set her up with RuneLite, tweaked the plugins to make it as smooth as possible, and got her character ready for her first adventure.

Today? She’s been playing non-stop for 8.5 hours. 😅 This is officially the longest she’s ever played any video game in her life—she’s never made it past three hours before. Watching her get completely hooked and learning the game for the first time has been awesome.
