I'd start with the other Islamic countries and other authocraties first before I'd turn to antisemitism

Did I miss the end of the US-backed genocide of the Palestinian people? If not, Israel should catch some charges. The US too. You know, until that stops. I don't even think that is antisemitic. It's just holding criminals accountable.

The article is about gender apartheid.

Israel does a lot of things to be criticised but instantly pointing at them like this is when there are much worse examples in that regard all over the world is a another form of antisemitism.

If this were 1994 and I had substituted Rwanda in place of Israel, what type of discrimination would that be?

The thing is that antisemitism is as present as it has been for the last 2000 years since jews have been treated worse in the Christian Roman Empire but the language has changed since the end of the Third Reich often replacing jews with Israel for example.

The conspiracy that says the Mossad released Covid is the same old lie that jews poisoned wells and started the black death in a different costume, as an example.

I'm not saying you are an antisemit, I'm just saying it's so deep in our society that we often don't realise it.

And for me, pivoting to Israel instantly when another country does something bad is part of it.

I understand what you are saying but respectfully disagree with your position that calling out Israel's bad behavior is antisemitic. If they quit doing what they are doing, then they wouldn't be used as an example.

Not the critic is the problem, they definitely need more of that, it's the instant pivot to them that bothers me.

It's whataboutism and in that case is taking attention away from the cruelly oppressed Afghan women and girls.

Okay. Who else is genociding at the moment? I can pivot to them.

The article is not about genocide, it's about gender apartheid
