This is most likely a Delta maintenance issue though.
I bet the passengers were largely ok with the delay it caused... Time to recover from "the engine is on fire" and such.

Boeing doesn't make the engines.
Flying in the US is increasingly resembling flying in Russia.
Delta said customers were reaccommodated on a new aircraft to their final destinations.
