Transliterated as palianytsia, Ukraine uses this word because it is difficult for native russian-speakers to pronounce.

And now they have a drone named after it, so that is a thing.

Like... can I hire them? Because they sound more competent than the guy from fiverr my HR spent 8 weeks hiring and then we fired him because he couldnt figure out how to follow instructions.
