A young man was wounded on Friday by Israeli special forces gunfire during an invasion in the northern part of Nablus, in the occupied West Bank, before the soldiers abducted him.

Media sources said the soldiers stormed the vicinity of the city’s western cemetery, invaded a house, and fired live rounds, injuring Fadi Abu Sharkh, before abducting him.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said the soldiers prevented its medics from reaching the home to provide emergency care. The extent of Abu Sharkh’s injuries remains unknown.

In addition, the soldiers abducted Ahmad Al-Isawi after invading and ransacking his home in the New Askar refugee camp, east of Nablus, and two other Palestinians in two separate areas of Nablus.

In related news, the soldiers invaded Raba village, southeast of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, and fired gas bombs, causing 13 Palestinians to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.

The Palestinians were injured when the army attacked a nonviolent procession after they held Friday prayers and headed towards their lands, which Israel is attempting to illegally confiscate for the construction of an illegal colony.
