It's a little sad that we need to actually say this, but:

Don't be an asshole or you will be permanently banned.

Respectful debate is totally OK, criticizing a product is fine, but being verbally abusive will not be tolerated.

Focus on discussing the idea, not attacking the person.

YT Industries

I'll be honest, I'm always surprised to hear about the "biggest" companies going under, yet I've never heard of them before, despite being heavily steeped in the lifestyle.

Is it just poor marketing overall, or are they only marketing on social media platforms that I've long abandoned?

*Biggest Direct To Consumer brands.

I only know about YT because my Orange County neighbors sing their praises.

Aside from Canyon, there's not a lot else on the list who distribute this way to even compare.

Canyon is super well known.

I wonder if I've never heard of YT due to the type of bikes they sell? I'm assuming it's all mountain bikes?

I could have sworn they had a little operation near us but couldn't quite make sense of their global footprint. But, yeah, I only know of them in regards to mountain bikes. Canyon, on the other hand, has the opposite of a marketing problem and pretty diverse offerings. At any rate, not a whole lot of companies selling direct like that.
