Interesting that all but #8 have faces with eyes on the body and not where the eyes should be.

Though #8 is also facing away, so who knows what kind of face the artist would have given that one.

Why do they draw snail eyes where there are no eyes? Were medieval people blind, or did they draw something they had never seen?
