Kensington Orbit® series are matching your budget. To be honest, Kensington Slimblade Pro is almost 2 times of you budget but it worths.
I spent years with the Kensington Orbit and just recently switched to to a Kensington Expert. I'm considering going back to the Orbit, it's just so good.
I switched from a Logitech m570 to an elecom track ball that is now gone. But replaced by the ek-g https://elecomusa.com/products/m-xt2urbk-g
Edit: I said etekcity when I meant elecom
Cannot vouch for that specific Logitech model or that etekcity because I haven't used them, but I can vouch for the elecom one. So far the only problem I've had so far was caused by me not removing the ball and cleaning out the dust and stuff.
