This is from 1944. A lot has changed, since then, for better and worse.
This is before the Republicans got "under God" added to the Pledge, and I notice the kids are saluting, which now is only for people in uniform, otherwise it's hand on heart.
Modern Republicans would probably say this image is "Woke and DEI" and try to ban it.
If MAGA could read, they'd be melting down over this.
It's a double-whammy what with the pre-1954 version that doesn't say "under God".
They're all too busy being pissy over Superman.
Someone go remind them that Supes gave up his American citizenship willingly and watch them melt.
I'm sure they'll just claim that Wonder Woman was a DEI hire.
