The only two Very Short Treks I've found funny so far were the new one, 'Holograms All The Way Down', and that Spock one you're referencing. It was fucked up but it just happens to be my twisted level of comedy. The Discovery bit with the Europa exploding repeatedly had me giggling like an absolute lunatic. The dude with no legs from the transporter... that also got a good laugh out of me. I completely see why people didn't like it but I loved it.
