so is Cyberpunk finally good? do the cops have AI that's at least vaguely comparable to GTA 3's?

Cops apparently won't materialize out of thin air anymore and they fixed most of the basic character animations. I finished the game in about a week on the hardest difficulty and then never touched it again because it was hollow as fuck.
fucking with cops and getting chased until you die or evade them has been literally one of the most fun things to do in every GTA game since 3... it's baffling to me that, on release, Cyberpunk didn't even clear that extremely low bar set literally twenty years before
Even though there's a wanted system now, you have to reload a save if you're killed by the police. The game wasn't redesigned to be a GTA like game, they just added a wanted system to it.
fair enough, I just wish it had some kind of fun mechanic involving chases and shootouts with cops, rather than that unexplainable mess with cops spawning out of thin air behind you
Yeah that was pretty immersion breaking for sure.
It's way less janky now and the combat and gameplay is more fun in general. But it's still Oblivion with neon lights and robot arms. Take that as you will.
It was always good. It's just not a GTA game and it still isn't one even with a wanted system. It's 95% the same exact game that it was on launch and the fact that people are now praising it is absolutely hilarious to me. The only actually bad part of the game on release was the previous gen versions. Someone could easily make the same compilation videos of awful bugs in the game with the current version as they did with the launch version. When people want something to be good, things are good, when people want something to be bad, things are bad. People clearly want the game to be good right now so they're pretending it's a completely different game now, which is a great thing for cd project red. There's a lot of good stuff in the game, so it's good that people are able to experience it finally.
The game is fucking garbage and it will never be anything else. The problem has never been the bugs (i played it on release and it wasn't really any buggier than any other open-world-rpgs) or the "broken promises", it's just a game made by harebrained capital g gamers having absolutely nothing to say besides "look at how cool we are we made witcher 3 and now we have a billion dollars and are going to make the mostest bestest game ever it's going to have everything you ever wanted out of a videogame and more". The game has absolutely nothing to say besides that.
