This part was a clear and direct warning siren that I think will reach a lot of people:
The dichotomy of βliberalβ versus βconservativeβ takes on a different context when viewed through the lens of a country other than America. The fascists know this and admit to utilizing tactics of hyper-normalization to sway the masses to their side. This can be clearly seen in the discourse surrounding critical race theory in the media. The same is happening in the current witch hunt against communists and trans people. It is not hyperbole to state that in the current American sociopolitical landscape, people are branded as a βcommunistβ by the fascists, without having any coherent idea of what communism actually is.

Yeah, im not exactly breaking down walls here, just more giving the lay of the land in 2023
I always feel like a jerk when I say "I know this about communism already" but I can't help what cryptic imagery appears in my fevered dreams
I like to think that some of the parallels I draw are unique here, but like...my main thesis is that "shit hasn't really changed since the 1700s" so by showing this to a communist audience, it's not anything that nobody already knows, especially queer leftists. I hope it turns a few minds about queer issues to some people, but, I dunno. I wrote this a year ago and worked really really hard on updating it, so im just happy it's out there for people to see
It's a solid picture of the way things are. The only nitpick I have is you wrote "tenants" when you meant "tenets." Tenets are the ordered rules of an ideology or mindset. Tenants are the people Mao did great stuff for
