The Tonalztics of Ralos is a weapon quite literally inspired by the sun god. It is formed to look like the sun, it charges using sunfire splinters, and when you use the special attack it even ignites.

It comes from "the burn damage expansion" (Varlamore)

And yet… it doesn’t actually burn at all.. even when charged.

This weapon is widely considered underwhelming, with very few or highly niche use cases. Adding something like 10 burn damage over 24 seconds won’t suddenly make much difference tbh. but it would make it thematically much much cooler. Would also fit the def reduction as "melting/damaging" armour. And the burn would function as a visual confirmation the def reduction applied.

Too quote a legendary priest of Ralos that I just made up 5 seconds ago:

"Light without heat is a lie. Let the sun god’s fire burn true."
