So many World of Warcraft veterans and top streamers are trying Old School RuneScape that even Jagex has noticed, and the gap in MMO muscle memory is hilarious: "Chat I'm freaking out" (www.gamesradar.com)

there some upsides and downsides on that.

way easyer to make content thats not worth doing, and have to force bis gear to require old gear to upgrade. its a bandaid fix but it works.

making powercreep also makes the game more fresh, which means you can do complety new stuff. meanwhile osrs, its proboly going to be the same road if you want to play effective.

but i believe osrs is best of both worlds
