Would anyone be so kind as to give me a basic step by step to "safely" start torrenting on a Android tablet

So far I think the go to client seems like flud

I have a VPN so do you recommend binding the vpn and setting a killswitch and if so how to do this on flud (I have already got libretorrent but doesn't seem to be a way to bind)

I'm failing to grasp the basic set up at the moment as it's probably been 15 plus years since I last torrented and back then I had no VPN nothing, just going for it unprotected 🤣

Just want to set myself up with the safest method that can be achieved on a Android tablet
