I just looked them up, and yep - they're a ~~genocide~~ genoise cake. (Geez, autoincorrect. I've never used that word that I can think of, not at least since a history class in college).

I think that after they won that court case and out not being a biscuit, they get a little shirty about the suggestion (and tax implications) that they my indeed be biscuits
