Sweet, any improvement is appreciated.

But I wonder what's up with all the dashed lines on the map. Bike lanes start, stop, start again?

It says no funding is secured yet so is this like the dream map? Future projects will be based on these plans? Also I wish they would stick to a terminology and keep using it. Its confusing what each type of lane is.

Bike Lane or Buffered Bike Lane - These are both painted types of bike lanes
Neighborhood Bikeway - Sharrow
Protected Bike Lane - Actual physical barrier
Shared Sidewalk
Shared Street or Car-Free Street - Driving with cars or not??
Trail

My favorite of these that are the least stressful are trails, shared sidewalks, and protected bike lanes. Neighborhood bikeways are usually chosen pretty poorly for some reason. They are defined as low volume streets but in reality that ends up not being the case. When done right they are nice though.

Oooh, you guys are scraping the vertical paint for zippers. Our city dabbled with zippers, but immediately had to put orange cones up, as drivers just ran over them. Zippers would be much more effective if they were rotated 90° so that they were head on instead of a glancing blow to cars.

But at that point, you might as well throw in concrete crash barriers or orange construction barriers instead. Zippers don't really do much.

Or flexposts covered in anti-slip, high grit sandpaper.
