Are we in for a rain bomb ? Are we allowed to say that four letter word on here ? I imagine on Reddit one would get a site wide ban for using such a term.

Anyway, Sunday again and I'm unsure what to do today. I mean I have many things I could and should do of course.

I started watching Animal Kingdom last night. Seems ok I've given up on The Leftovers after about 10 episodes of it. It's a bit weird and slow. I can handle weird and slow but there's something about it that's not gripping me.

I've started watching Jericho, an old series from 2006. I seem to recall watching it way back in the day (maybe even on TV when it was broadcast?) but never got to see the end.

Been so long that I've forgotten the episodes, but recognise the characters as they appear.

I vaguely remember it ran out of puff pretty quick which is a shame cause it's such a great premise.

Hey yeah I started watching that a few months ago. And yes it seemed to run out of steam for me. I would watch other shows and for some light relief jump back to it. But I haven't watched any for a couple of months now. It's nice enough and fun.

Also grabbed Micallef Tonight from 2003.

I love his style of comedy. It's such a shame those style of shows never did very well.

Aaah a blast from the past. I think the problem with him was that he was a bit too intelligent for his own good. If that makes sense. Hope that makes sense.

He definitely was/is. I can't stop laughing the whole way through, but I notice that the live audience (and my wife) don't giggle nearly as much.

Reminds me a bit of Daniel Kitson who's a stand up comic who tickles my funny bone. His timing and way of phrasing things is so perfect and he could probably just read the phone book or dictionary and get me rolling. Micallef is similar... Finishing the show with "And so, like a poorly stocked spice rack, we are out of Thyme"... So good.

It looks like we're not going to cop the full force of it thank goodness.
